- Bengal Gram Dal - 150 gms
- Onion - 2 nos
- Ginger (small piece) - 1
- Garlic - 10 flakes
- Celery - 1 stalk
- Crushed Black Pepper - 1 tbs
- Cinnamon - 2 nos
- Green Chilli - 8 nos
- Curry Leaves - 3 stalk
- Lime - 2 nos
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Stocked Chicken/Mutton - 1 ltr
| Preparation Method |
- Wash the dal and cook it with chopped onions, ginger, garlic, celery, cinnamon stick, green chilli and crushed pepper until the dal is soft.
- Puree the dal and keep aside.
- Mix the stock with the pureed dal and bring to a boil.
- Add seasonings, coconut milk and lime juice.
- Remove from fire and serve garnished with rice.
