- Whole chicken or boneless chicken - 1.5kgs
- Chilly powder - 3/4 tbsp
- GaramMasala - 1/4tbsp
- Ginger - 1.5 inch,cut into very small bits
- Garlic - 7 pieces
- Soy sauce - 3tbsp
- Tomato ketchup - 2.5tbsp
- Onion - 4-6
- Green Chillies - 2-3
- Oil - 6tbsp
- Salt to taste
| Preparation Method |
- Marinate chicken with 1tbsp oil,half the quantity of chilly powder and Garam Masala,4tsp soy sauce.
- In vessel, put 2tbsp oil and fry half the ginger and garlic lightly.
- Then add the marinated chicken.Close and cook on low to medium fire for 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile in another vessel,preferably heavy aluminium vessel,lightly fry 3-4 cardomoms, a small bark of cinnamon and 2-3 cloves.
- Then fry ginger,garlic and then add onions and fry them util they are soft.
- Then add chilly and garam masala pwder, fry it for a while,then add soy sauce and tomato ketchup.
- Make this into a gravy.Now add the prepared chicken and mix .
- Cover and cook in low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- A tsp of butter can be added to this in the end.
